United Way of Rapid City

Back to SECO Projects | Back to Civic Category

The local United Way was housed in an old dilapidated building that needed to be razed. The owner elected to demolish the existing building and rebuild a new facility on the same lot in downtown Rapid City. The new facility would provide additional office space for the administrative staff, a large conference room and leasable space to help offset the operating cost of the new building. The facility is constructed of a structural steel frame with structural steel stud walls. The building features unique sloped front walls with brick veneer drawing attention to the beauty of the facility’s architecture.
