The guys were up Mount Rushmore National Memorial yesterday pouring a decorative colored concrete curb in the entryway to the park. The curb is stamped with animal footprints to tell an old Native American story!
Getting cleaned up and ready for reopening! We are very proud of our construction team and subcontract partners for a monumental effort to reopen the public parking at the Downtown Rapid City Ramp. The contract allowed us 8 weeks of full closure to complete work required where no vehicles or pedestrians could be in the ramp.
The *Main Level Paid Public parking* will reopen Friday, May 26th, no later than 4:00 PM. This is over 4 weeks ahead of the allotted full ramp shut down time! Leased parking is still under construction and closed
We appreciate the hard work and dedication of our partners Dakota Sealants, INC. and Buck's Electric along with our crew to achieve this milestone!
These freezing temps have us dreaming of t-shirt weather!
Flash back to our crew pouring this driveway. It consisted of 216 yards of concrete, 800 linear feet, 150 feet of elevation rise. That's 36 trucks backed down and it took 14 hours start to finish!
We couldn’t do what we love everyday without our dedicated crew showing up and making it happen. Be sure to show the Construction Industry some extra love this week!
One of our crews is hard at work up in HISTORIC DEADWOOD. The Days of ‘76 Rodeo Party Deck is almost finished in preparation of the first event of the season, Back When They Bucked, Memorial Day weekend!
Flooring America's New Warehouse Addition is coming along very nicely. After a very wet spring that delayed progress on the building, SECO has gotten the project back on track. Foundations are in, walls are up, exterior building envelope is underway including roofing, siding, windows, and doors. Mechanical and Electrical roughins are underway and we are excited to turn over another quality project to the Owner!
SECO Construction is always excited to see our finished projects being fully utilized. Judd Hoos Billboard music video was shot in front of the interactive fountain at Main Street Square in Rapid City. The video recently made its worldwide debut. This is a unique use of one of our completed projects. Not only does the video promote the band, but also promotes downtown Rapid City. We are proud of the work we completed at Main Street Square and are excited to see it used in a unique way!!
